Resplendent in outrageous shirts and even more outrageous hairstyles, Milton Jones’ is the King of the One-Liners. “Most of my relatives are police marksmen, apart from my granddad who was a bank robber. He died recently, surrounded by his family”, is just one of many gems.

With such gags as these he has delighted Galway audiences over the years, and what a pleasure it is to say he will return to make our city laugh again in October.

A veteran of the BBC’s Mock the Week, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo and Dave’s One Night Stand, Milton is a Sony Award and Chortle Headliner of the Year winner, a podcaster and radio broadcaster, and author of the novel, Where Do Comedians Go When They Die?, which Mark Billingham called “hilarious, moving, and truthful”.
