An Taibhdhearc
An Taibhdhearc, located on Middle Street in the heart of Galway City centre, is the National Irish Language Theatre. A new state-of-the-art theatre highly suitable for small productions, conferences, seminars, workshops and launches. The auditorium has 148 seats, and the newly refurbished art Deco bar/café is a welcoming place where you can soak in the theatre’s long and illustrious history. A haven for theatre artists, the arts community, Irish-language communities and those with a discerning taste, the café-bar is open 6 days a week, as well as before and after shows.
