Dara Ó Briain
He may, by his own admission, look like "one of Tony Soprano’s henchmen, on a bad day", but Ó Briain is arguably Comedy’s Renaissance Man - stand-up, broadcaster, actor, author, columnist, science communicator, Gaeilgeoir - and the only person who can rival Graham Norton for the title of ‘Britain’s Favourite Irishman’.
From his days as host of RTÉ’s much-loved and fondly remembered The Panel, Ó Briain has become one of the biggest names on the international comedy circuit, and a Mock the Week, QI and Have I Got News For You regular. He is first and foremost though, a comedian, and he is peerless.
