He may only be 21, but Shawn Uyosa is a rapidly rising talent in Irish comedy. The Nigerian born, Irish stand-up, began performing at just 17. He was Leinster finalist in RTÉ’s stand up comedy competition, Stand up and be Funny; a finalist in the Show Me The Funny national competition in Galway; and 2022 BBC New Comedy Awards Nominee. He won Cork Comedian Of The Year 2023 and Best New Act 2020 at the Bray Comedy Festival.
