Kevin Gildea
Comedian, writer, performer, dancer, matador, astronaut and liar - Kevin Gildea began his comedy career in the sketch group Mr Trellis, alongside Barry Murphy and Ardal O' Hanlon. They co-founded The Comedy Cellar, Dublin's longest-running comedy club. Gildea's mild manner and quirky absurdist viewpoint, create side-splittingly funny ruminations that have seen him performed all over the world, and see his Edinburgh Fringe shows regularly achieve critical acclaim and sell-out runs. He has also written for Irish Pictorial Weekly and appeared on The Stand Up Show and The Amnesty International Comedy Special as well as playing Father Cave in an episode of Father Ted.
“Highly original and explosively funny”
